2017 looks like being another record year in Australia and New Zealand, with hotels and alternative forms of guest accommodation continuing to be built, purchased, branded and managed. Sentiment remains positive, but as the volume of new and proposed room supply continues to grow, and uncertainties mount about the impact of external factors such as the changing political landscape in the USA, Great Britain and Europe, questions remain about the likely duration and extent of the local industry upcycle. The fundamental question therefore remains: are these the best of times for the local accommodation industry, or are our best days still ahead of us.
To address future directions and prospects, industry leaders will again gather in Sydney in July 2017 for the suite of four consecutive HotelsWorld 2017 events, headlined by HotelsWorld Australia New Zealand, the region’s international industry event and the main event on the industry calendar for CEO’s and other senior industry executives. Delegates include hotel chains and management companies, developers, investors, owners, lenders, government representatives, advisors, architects, designers and other professional advisers.
HotelsWorld 2017 will again enable executives to get together for “Hotels Week” by selectively and efficiently participating in some, or all four events, whilst also being able to meet up with peers and colleagues attending other HotelsWorld 2017 events during the same week.
More than 500 CEO’s and other key decision makers are again expected to attend HotelsWorld 2017 and be addressed by over 130 speakers, comprising global, regional and local leaders and industry experts, all sharing in the HotelsWorld pursuit of industry Insight, Ideas and Networking.
